Healthy Fun: The Summer Health Fair & Blood Drive Was a Success!
It was a fun day at the fair! The AllMed Summer Health Fair and Blood Drive, held earlier this month on July 10, was a success. Despite the temperature reaching as high as 111 degrees, people braved the heat and got their screenings done, and donated blood. Our first annual health fair aimed to make preventive health services more convenient than ever for our Sacramento community. The AllMed team did on-site health screenings for things like blood pressure , blood sugar, and cholesterol levels, as well as pap smears, mammograms, and more — all to help patients stay on track with their health. Better Health and a Bagful of Goodies Attendees didn’t just go home healthier, they also walked away with plenty of fun freebies, from snacks and custom-designed tote bags to stickers and masks. Three lucky patients also won raffle prizes, with the grand prize winner receiving a $100 Visa gift card while two other patients won Starbucks coffee and thermoses. The Sacramento Health Com...
